DISCO ELYSIUM: A VIDOEGAME THAT CHANGED ME TO THE CORE Every once in a while I remember the existence of Disco Elysium, vidoegame developed by the infamous ZA/UM, winner of indipendent game of the year of 2020 and wonderful game about existencialism and communism. It could seem that on the outside existencialism and communism don't have anything to do with each pther, but disco alysium manages to explain perfectly how and why life, in general, intertwines politcs with everyday life, with good and bad things of humanity. ofc Politics deals with that, duh! But before playing this game I considered myself quite distant from the politics world, meaning I was quite happy with my everyday life, I didn't have many considerations about how things worked and I found myself deeply detached from dealing with anything political, but then this game came. It came during a sad day, during a sad time in my uni life, while I was trying to survive a deep depression that seemed to be lasting forever. Now that I realize this game is not an easy one for people that are dealing with heavy stuff, much like Omori or any other game that deals with deep and rooted trauma within their characters
